Finally back to the forest after a month away. We were excited that the snow was still here. The highlight today was sliding or rolling down hill in it. We also checked on the pumpkin in the morning and found some nibbles on it. Over the campfire we tried roasting pickles--most really liked it and then we made a marshmallow. In the afternoon there were only 2 kiddos so we joined with first grade and shared our pickles and they shared their hot dogs and hot cocoa.
