We had a great time in the forest today. We explored a new area and found lots of owl pellets as well as logs to climb on and big sticks to build with. We enjoyed marshmallows around the campfire on real sticks. In the afternoon the first graders came down and we joined in with their lesson about tree life cycles. We pretended to be a seed, sprout, sapling, and tree.
