Forest Day March 14, 2022

 We were very happy to start our full days in the forest. (It was supposed to start last week but the school weather cancellation took care of that.) Anyway, we read a dinosaur book and looked how tall our trees were to get an idea of how tall some dinos were. We spent the rest of the day getting to know new friends from the other section while sliding, running, crawling, rolling, digging, mixing, creating, and imagining. In the morning the hill had snow and we enjoyed sliding on our bottoms, backs, and tummies. In the afternoon there was more digging and filling holes with melted snow and pinecones became the piranhas living in those lakes. 

We enjoyed our lunch around the campfire and later went back to celebrate Mrs. Bobzin's birthday by roasting peeps. We also tried roasting small hot dogs and broccoli to see if we preferred being meat or plant eating dinosaurs.
