It was the first day in the forest for the new classes of Early Learners--and the first bus ride for a few too. The gentle sprinkles lasted all day but did not dampen our fun. We were busy exploring. First we learned where the classroom boundaries were--notice the pink ribbons on the trees. We also found deer tracks, worms, frogs, and a few bugs.
We were busy moving our bodies too--running, jumping, balancing, and digging in the dirt.
Here are a few pictures of our day:
One standard addressed today was: Health and Physical Development--A.EL. 2 Demonstrates behaviors to meet safety needs. (Today we learned the boundaries of the classroom.)
