 It was great to be back together after winter break and the snowday that started our break. We found some branches had not survived the heavy snow of early December and the high winds of 2 weeks ago. We were busy move them around to make campfires, a bed, and zombie homes. We sat and talked about our winter break and caught up on the past couple weeks. Some enjoyed looking at books, others dug looking for the snake family, and other played red light/ green light. We enjoyed roasting string cheese and snowman peeps over the campfire too.

One standard addressed today was: Language Development and Communication- Speaking and Communicating: B. EL. 2a Uses vocalizations and spoken language to communicate. Language Form (Syntax: rule system for combining words, phrases, and sentences, includes parts of speech, word order, and sentence structure)
