It was beutiful in the woods--calm and sunny. We had a great day building with sticks, collecting rocks, digging in the frozen ground, and running. In our storage box we discovered a little mouse has made its home. We peeked often but tried to respect its home and not scare it too much. In the afternoon there was a beauty salon and one young lady was styling other's hair. Over the campfire we roasted mini hot dogs--we were hoping Pigeon might stop by but we did not see him. We also read a nonfiction book about owls and practiced a new word--nocturnal--active at night.
