Another blue sky day to enjoy our time in the forest. Later in the day was getting a little warm. We introduced more pans and scoops so there were many more cooking creations and a store for a while. Also had a long rope and some flexible measuring tapes for the first time. The rope became a zipline almost right away and they worked together to make it tighter, higher, and to tie it to the tree--all wonderful ways to practice communication and cooperation. Later the rope was moved to be house and a construction zone. We enjoyed campfire mashed potatoes from the fire area but we served them in our play area. Also went by the pond over lunch again. After 2 weeks around the edge they were given the okay to use the ladder and big logs for climbing. Some did wet but it was warm and they dried fairly quickly. We also saw more insects, bugs, and a worm.
