Forest Day Feb 9, 2026

 We were very glad to be back in the forest. The snow was so much fun! They were busy digging in it and "cooking". Later some children were using the rock as a family car. Lots of running and laughing too. In the afternoon the small class was even smaller--1 child so we joined the first graders. We enjoyed marshmallows by the campfire. 

Here is a peek at our day: 

                               Owl fluff--they are nesting somewhere nearby--an early sign of spring :) 

One standard addressed today was: Social Emotional--Self Concept: B.EL. 2 Demonstrates self-awareness.
