Mushrooms were made into pretend roasted marshmallows, salad, and Halloween soup.
Logs, sticks, and planks from the picnic table became teeter totters, cars, ramps, and even a horse stable. In the AM we were serenaded by a rock band with logs and sticks for drums, guitars, and a microphone. In the PM there was an imagined fire, a hand became a phone to call 911, and sticks were hoses to put it out.
Rocks were carried, piled, made into babies fed by stick bottles, and one special one was named Camouflage.
Living creatures were discovered--multiple woolly bear caterpillars and one all black fuzzy caterpillar (in PM).
There were moments to ponder and relax too.
Remember our field trip to the pumpkin patch on Thursday--both classes are going in the morning together. Please dress for the weather.
