Forest Day Nov 7
We had a fabulous fall day with temperatures reaching in the upper 60s by afternoon, so it didn't take long for sweatshirts, gloves, and hats to get piled by the water bottle tree.
We were busy using tools, found items and our imaginations all while interacting and communicating with each other.
Tools and digging--found roots and looked for buried treasure
Building structures--to slide down and climb up and balance on (even some karate moves while balancing)
Discoveries--mushrooms, moss, curvy snake branch (letter S), roots, worms, and rocks
Imaginations--singing, drumming, bus to the pumpkin patch, "old man of the Forest", tooth fairy visit, surfing on a board, bear hunt
We are excited to continue our adventures next week!
