Then it was time to try out the tools. Last year we had a successful DonorsChoose.org project and through donations and matching opportunities we were able to purchase the digging tools the children used today. Sometimes it was hard to wait for a turn, but we also heard children say, "I've already had three turns so somebody can have mine now. I can come back later."
There was plenty of time to use imaginations, use teamwork, and experiment too!
That's all until next week!
