Building structures was popular.
Many were busy climbing.
In the morning a dead mouse was spotted one a tree branch. Both classes had lots of ideas about how it got there...."maybe it climbed", "jumped from another tree", "a bird put it there", "a spaceship left it", "it walked when it was sleeping", "jumped really really high" and ..."maybe it just got there".
One child said as we left, "Forest is the best day cause we don't have to clean up any toys."
