Forest Day Inside Edition Jan 7, 2019
Today we made the decision to stay at school because the weather. We made the most of our time by getting out some new loose parts and inviting Ms. Nogee's kindergarten class to join us for a little over an hour in both the AM and PM. We had an awesome time learning together.
Some of the new loose parts included dominoes, flooring samples, magnetic shapes, letter cubes & tiles, and a few other items.
The art center was a busy place for creating and experimenting.
In the sensory table we had water.
In the afternoon we also explored shaving cream on the tables.
It was a good day inside, but hopefully next week we will be back in the forest.
One standard addressed today was:
Diversity in Learning--C. EL. 1 Experiences a variety of routines, practices, and languages.
