Forest Day Feb 11, 2019

We loved having the snow again today to play in. It was a little chillier than last week but no wind. We discovered lots of evidence of animal life. In the morning there were many tracks. In the afternoon we saw a live mouse, found a deer bedding area, and as we left on the bus we saw a deer laying down.

Looking for the mouse--next 2 pics

We were busy sliding and rolling in the snow, as well as, digging and chopping the icy snow layers and snowballs. Mrs. Bobzin became a human sled!

We found lots of ways to move our bodies.

We used our imagination.
 The porcupine needed new "porks".
Riding a helicopter
 "Snow" delicious
 Camping by the campfire
Determined to dig out and move the rock
Making pizza with ketchup and mustard
On a mission

One standard addressed today was:
Speaking and Communicating--B. EL. 1 Uses gestures and movements (non-verbal) to communicate.
