Forest Day Mar 11, 2019

We were finally back to the forest today! We were so happy to run, play, and imagine with our friends.

Making a squirrel house with a bedroom and a livingroom

Some kindergarten friends stopped by to show us the owl pellets they found
Pine cone sheep in their pen guarded by a camera and trees that pick up and take away any bad guys

A couple of deer walking through the woods

 Sliding off the rock
 Making a cake

 Playing hide'n'seek

We had snack earlier than usual so we could explore a new space. We loved exploring and climbing in the new area. At the end of the day, I asked each child what their favorite part was and 85 % answered something about climbing. One child's exact words were, "The climbing...that was definitely the best thing ever!"

One standard addressed today was:
Motor Development--B.EL.1b Moves with strength, control, balance, coordination, locomotion, and endurance. Balance and Strength
