Forest Day December 9, 2019
The day was damp but not our spirits. We were so busy running, digging, "cooking", and imagining.
We were surprised to see hundreds of tiny mushrooms growing and a couple small puff ball type.
We also found a worm, a beetle, and kindergarten children showed us some woolly bear caterpillars too. There was a cicada shed skin too.
We went to the fire pit for the first time and roasted a marshmallow. Yum!
One standard addressed today was:
Speaking and Communicating--B. EL. 2a Uses vocalizations and spoken language to communicate.
