Forest Day January 17, 2022

We were SO happy to be back in the forest after almost a month--couple weeks off for holiday break and then a couple below zero wind chill weeks. We came back to a winter wonderland and boy did we enjoy the snow. We saw many animal tracks, listened to the snow crunch under our feet, tossed it in the air to watch it fall, slid and rolled down hill, tasted it, and made snow angels.  

Imaginations were in full force--there were dinosaurs, cats, and a castle to protect. The afternoon children were talking on the bus about their dragon eggs and picked up their play right where they left off weeks ago.  

Ms. Kamrath brought huge marshmallows for us to roast for her last forest day with us.
