Forest Day December 20, 2021

 Another wonderfully busy day in the forest. We built houses, nests, a teeter totter, balance beam, and a hunting shack. In the morning there was LOTS of singing--sometimes 8 children all singing different songs. We had a few cooks making soup and later a make-up makeover.  In the afternoon about half of the time was spent finding dragon eggs (rocks), building nests, and taking care of the dragon eggs. At the firepit we roasted marshmallows. Here are a few pictures of our adventures:

































I was given a crown (antlers) and a confetti popper (a thick stick) so I could watch the singing.

One standard addressed today was: Early Literacy--C. EL. 3 Shows appreciation of books and understands how print works.
