On our way down the path we spotted a deer and watched it run off. After our story we went on a walk looking for big sticks. They were put to good use for building, as horses, a violin, and a game of limbo. The digging area was busy again with holes, roots, and "cooking" creations. Just before lunch we spent a few minutes in the "climbing classroom" exploring some big trees. We were busy moving, imagining, and talking today.
One standard addressed today was: Physical Development--Motor Development: B.EL. 2 Exhibits eye-hand coordination, strength, control, and object manipulation.
