Forest Day November 14, 2022

Today was chillier than last week --we even found some ice sheets where swallow puddles had been. Chopping into pumpkins was popular again this week. We were very busy climbing, running, balancing, jumping, and moving in every direction. There was some hide & seek and red light/ green light too. Not many critters today, however a few worms were found. Over the fire we roasted soft breadsticks. Not as many pictures as usual--the ipad was not cooperating at times. It will be a couple weeks before we get back--next week is gun deer season so we will remain at school but will still get outside on the playground to explore and move our bodies.

Here is a glimpse at our day.

One standard addressed today was: Health and Physical Development-- A.EL.1b Demonstrates behaviors to meet self-help and physical needs. Dressing
