We had a great time moving our bodies--digging, climbing, balancing, running, rolling, and crawling. We made discoveries about melting snow, found treasures hidden under the snow, and had conversations with each other. We also made our first trip down to the pond area. We found owl pellets and looked in a couple. The morning one only had fur, but in the afternoon one we found a small claw. We explored around (and some in) the pond. We noticed air bubbles trapped under the ice and saw seed pods floating in the open areas. Here is a glimpse of our day:
One standard addressed today was Approaches to Learning--Curiosity, Engagement, and Persistance: A.EL. 1 Displays curiosity, risk-taking, and willingness to engage in new experiences.
