We had a great time exploring some icy patches--some sliding and lots of chopping at it. There was some hide n seek, teamwork to move branches, climbing, looking for grizzley deer (not bear--I was corrected when I asked), and using the picnic table as a fort. We also saw turkey and raccooon tracks in the snow. Over the campfire we had a group favorite--roasted string cheese. Just before getting on the bus in the afternoon, we spotted a wooly bear caterpillar--yes alive--on the pavement. He was relocated to a grassy area. Here is a glimpse at our day:
