Forest Day April 22, 2024

 We were busy enjoying another spring day in the forest. There was a house to block the sun that later became a jet. Some children asked to get buried with dirt while others made cakes. We roasted cheese over the fire and some of us visited the pond--we are pretty sure we saw a few tadpoles. (There were some wet feet too). There was music too--some singers & dancers and others were tapping a beat with sticks.

One standard addressed today was: Social-Emotional--Social Competence: C.EL. 1 Demonstrates attachment, trust, and autonomy.
