The weather was perfect and we took full advantage of it. We found a few bugs and grubs, ran, dug, and imagained. They built a horse from stumps and a board. Later the stumps became tall dinosaurs. They roasted real marshmallows in the morning and made a pretend campfire and roasted in the afternoon. In the afternoon Mrs. Koenig's class told us they found frogs in the pond. We decided to check it out. We did find and catch one.

One standard addressed today was Social and Emotional Development: Social Competence--C.EL. 4 Engages in social problem solving behavior and learns to resolve conflict.
