What a gorgeous day to be outside! We enjoyed every minute and even arrived back a few minutes late in the morning--one child was surprised that our day was already done. Last week the afternoon class had build an elaborate structure and was busy using their imaginations. I wanted to give them the chance to return to it so the morning class went to the kindergarten area to explore. They were busy balancing on BIG logs, climbing on structures, and digging in sand. In the afternoon they did return to their structure for some play as well as working in other areas. Both groups enjoyed roasting string cheese over the campfire.
Here is a glimpse at our day:
Found a stick like the letter "Y"
Friendly fly
Pretending he is a tree
Making a large paw print with claws
