A perfect fall day in the forest--not too cold, not too hot. We took the pumpkins we carved on Friday to the forest. They did some exploring of the pumpkin and then used it for "cooking"--salad and soup. There was also lots of building and imaginative play. We simply enjoyed being together and exploring.

We are looking forward to seeing what changes happen to our pumpkins over the course of this next week.
