Feb 13 Forest Day

What a beautiful day to be outdoors! We had fun sliding on our bottoms and our bellies, we chopped a hole in some ice, we relaxed on the ground, we climbed and balanced, and we used our imaginations. We added a bird feeder donated by Landon's grandpa:

We also drew pictures of what we did today. Here are the captions the children dictated to us:

Mason: "Me and Khloe played Trolls. I was Branch and Khloe was Poppy."

Colton: "I knocked over trees."

Jennifer: "Me and Alex and Ava were playing a house brush and we had to go surfing."

Ava: "It's a tornado and I am standing right there. I played cook."

Alex H: "This choo choo train is a monorail. They go on one rail. I played trains."

Logan: "We were playing in the water and a 'tormato' came."

Kassadie: "Mom and I hit the tree. We walked too."

Josie: "I wish a I had a train. Chugga choo choo...the train is over there and I shoot it."
