Feb 6 Forest Day



This week Mrs. Bender was not feeling well and so Mrs. Hruby (and Mrs. Schmitt and Mrs. Jennings and many parent helpers) headed out to the forest with the Early Learners. The children were asked if they found any tracks here are their responses:

Houston--"Yeah, this one a people track"

Caden--"Yes. Big people tracks"

Elise--"No. I looked and I looked and I didn't found any"

Landon--A lot and a lot and a lot deer tracks. Really awesome and cool and awesomer"

Gage--No. I finded one on the way here. It looked like a deer.

Paxton--"I saw some here. They're people tracks"

Braxton--"No tracks"

Madalynn--"No, I just saw waves"

Gracie--"Yes, I found a elephant track."

Emily--"I don't know what are it. I think it a lion."

Svea--"I found a bunny track."

Billy--"No"

Mackenzie--"Arf Arf...Reindeer"

Montana--"Yes, a rabbit"

Alex J--"Cat...maybe a tiger...maybe a snow leopard...maybe a baby snow leopard"

Mason--"Pony and deers footprints"

Memphis--"I saw trees but not a single footprint"

Bentley--"Kitty tracks"

Kassadie--"Yes a deer"

Ava--"They looked like bunny tracks...bunny footprints and train track foot prints."

Quintin--Head nod and shoulder shrug

Colton--"No tracks"

Liam--"I saw an animal that digged a hole...no footprints"

Savannah--"Deer tracks"

Josie--"I saw footprints...mine and kitty tracks"

Alex H.--"No. I saw Khloe's footprints"

Khloe--"Bunny and deers. I saw unicorn tracks...looked like deer footprints but much bigger"

Gemma--"Just one. It was a deer track. I already know because it was a kind of circle."

Jennifer--"I think I saw a animal track. It looks almost like a bunny but like a bunny hopper...a bunny hopper thing."

Logan--"Bunny tracks"
