We enjoyed some sunshine as we explored and played in the forest. Imaginations were in full bloom--playing school, creating magic potions, experimenting with gravity, driving a car with a stick key, playing music, and visiting a fair.
It was a little chillier today, so to keep warm bodies were in motion running, balancing, digging, and hiking.
Here's what each child remembered about the day:
Kolton--"Chopping a log"
Johnathan--"I working in this" (digging with a stick)
Reid--"I was playing with this stick digging in my witches water."
Ruger--"Dig with a killer stick"
Bodie--"Digging"
AJ--"I like being a table."
Tucker--"I make a venom potion."
Brantley--"Me doing sticks"
Landon--"Finding gold and he popped up to help us and he popped up to help us." (Kolton and Brantley)
Kay--"Balance beam"
Baylee--"Sticks and these" (balancing logs)
Braydon--"I lost my stick--it's somewhere over there"
Brady--"Tapping the tree"
Amelia--"I remember flipping the tree up and down so people go in the fair."
Odin--"I remember climbing the tree."
Kade--"I just stayed by mom."
Karsyn--"Walking on the logs"
Brinleigh--"The rock"
Teagan--"Making a fish aquarium"
Eli--"I remember timbering that tree down"
Austin--"I balanced."
Adelyn--"Making the slide"
Scarlett--"I remember sitting on the big log."
Cooper--"Helping other kids"
Devin--"Making a bridge"
Aubrey--"Playing with the tree"
Nola--"Climbing the tree"
Kaiden--"Climbing on the trees"
One standard addressed today was:
