Forest Day Nov 12, 2018

Today was a chilly but busy day in the forest.

Together we built and balanced..

Together we imagined and experimented...
 poking the frozen pumpkin
 cooking and eating
some spots were frozen and some were not
produced different sounds if you hit different spots and with different sticks
 jumping in a new spot
 downhill is different than flat
 more pumpkin explorations
 a rock named "Stacey"

 chase games keep you warm
sometimes hunting and sometimes acting out favorite games
 more chase games
 shrink rays and growing rays
repeatedly carrying the pumpkin up and rolling it down
 driving a car
pine cone witch on a pine branch broom
 more flying witches
warming themselves by their campfire before hunting some more
the hat keeps my head warm
but it doesn't melt the ice
 witch sweeping out her house
 how does the ice feel
noticing and exploring the holes on the tree stump
santa delivering presents (sticks) and putting under the tree (antler)
witches visiting each other on the rock

Together we were socially engaged...

Next week we will not be in the forest because of the 9 day gun deer season. We can't wait to see how the forest changes in two weeks!
