Forest Day Nov 26, 2018

We made it back to the forest today after a break last week for the gun-deer season. It was chilly but we kept moving and stayed warm. 

Here are a few highlights from the day:
 Exploring the pumpkin
 Jumping and marking how far
 A brush--it smelled so good and was used to clean off many areas today
 Getting deer camp ready
 Digging in the log
 Balancing
 In the deer stand

 Jumping and marking the distance
 Communicating and making pumpkin pie
 Exploring the pumpkin and preparing the pie
 Climbing
 More balancing and jumping
 Communicating and working out different ideas
 Taking turns climbing and jumping off

 Experimenting with how to move the stump--push, pull, tackle, etc

 Cooking food that soon became a swimming pool
 Using natural found items in play--pumpkin guts, mushrooms, leaves, pine cones, etc
