Forest Day Feb 24, 2020

On our way down the path this morning we spotted many deer tracks and what we believe were raccoon tracks. One of the children said we should get out our track book to look, so we did. We followed the prints all the way to our classroom and up through our area to the fire pit area.

We spent the rest of our day building a pirate ship, homes, and campfires and digging a river and looking for buried treasure. We tried sliding but our path was a little too bumpy and not as slippery as the past couple weeks.

At the camp fire, we roasted bunny shaped peeps--so yummy!
