Forest Day Feb 17, 2020

We had another busy and magical day in the forest. In the morning we saw fresh snow and lots of new tracks since last week. In the afternoon we walked through large fluffy snowflakes and could not see the tracks the morning class had made. By the time we left the green pine needles were covered in a blanket of white.

Both classes were busy sliding down hill with periodic excursions to play in other areas. Here is a glimpse at our day.

 The stick is their seatbelt.

Feeding rescue dogs, light fairies, and one dragon.

Getting the log on top of the rock

Pushing the log off and doing it all again

A baby bird just hatched and is eating worms

One standard addressed today was:
Curiosity, Engagement, and Persistence--A.EL. 1 Displays curiosity, risk-taking, and willingness to engage in new experiences.
