Forest Day Feb 3 2020

Sliding using our bodies dominated our day. We were so busy going on our tummies, backs, and hinders. Sometimes we went head first and sometimes feet first.

We took a short break to roast a marshmallow.

We also kept busy cooking, making music, building a campfire, and more. My favorite quote of the day, "It is so hot today"...forty degrees on Feb 3--it did seem rather warm.

 Noticed a hole in the ground and asked for our story Over and Under the Snow to figure out what animal might live under the snow there. We found more holes like this along the trail and some had broken/eaten acorn shells near them.
