When we arrived today, we were surprised to find unicorn eggs (painted rocks) hidden around our classroom. Before leaving in the morning the AM class hide them again so the PM class could have the same fun they did. We noticed patterns, colors, and letters/words on the rocks. At the campfire, we enjoyed a new treat--roasted string cheese--SO GOOD! There was also plenty of time for moving our bodies, using our outside voices, finding wooly bear caterpillars, and a trip or two to Zombie World (the afternoon class rides on a long stick to get there).
Here is a glimpse at our day:
One standard addressed today was Social Emotional Development--Social Competence: C.EL. 2 Engages in social interaction and plays with others.
