Today was our first cold day in the forest this year. We lent out a few pairs of snow pants and mittens to be sure everyone was warm enough. Our pumkpins were still where we left them and looked the same--no critters had snacked on them. We also introduced the shovels and pans. They were so busy digging and "cooking" and discovering dinosaur bones. At the fire pit today we tried roasted string cheese--warm and gooey just like on pizza--so good. Here is a glimpse at our day:
