Forest Day Nov 6, 2023

 What a gorgeous fall day to be outside--temps in the 60s (forty degrees warmer than last week in the morning). Everyone was busy digging, running, "cooking", dancing, singing, balancing, etc. Some explored the old pumpkins and were making potions, others made pies and cakes, others were digging tunnels or exploring the holes they made. The stick house was a boat for awile and they were rescuing each other by offering sticks to pull them from the water to the boat. They imaginations were in full swing today! We did see a few critters--a grub, a beetle, and along the path was a grass snake. At the campfire we had roasted peeps--the outside gets crunchy and the inside is gooey.
