We headed out in the morning but a tunderstorm popped up so we headed back to school and had our Project Wild Child day in our classroom. They loved having plenty of time to use their imaginations with no interuptions for specials or small group work. In the afternoon we were able to be in the forest. We found many bugs including a millipede and an inch worm. In the afternoon they used a long stick to create a teeter totter.
Both groups heard the story Five Green and Speckled Frogs and enjoyed acting it out as a class.
