Forest Day April 9, 2018

We began I day as usual, but after our story about The Three Billy Goats Gruff, we joined Miss Nogee's class. We learned the boundaries of her classroom, the rainbow room, and reviewed our own room. We learned how to go get and return tools to the shed and be safe when walking near the fire pit. We reviewed our blood bubble safety and respecting what others have created. Finally it was time to go play together in each child's choice of areas.







We used and experimented with tools.


















We made new friends.




















We dug DEEP holes.
























In the morning some children helped Miss Nogee get the fire pit ready to be lit. They also discovered a mouse in the wood box. Others mixed dirt and water to make paint--some even choose to have a friend paint their face with it.











In the afternoon some children found so many bones--big ones and small ones.












We kept busy with others and on our own.
















We worked up an appetite too.
